õ Host a blood drive for a group you're a member of.
(Examples: Church, School, Civic organization,
etc.)
õ Contact the Elizabeth Hanford Dole Chapter of the
American Red Cross
to set up a planning meeting.
õ Get at least 44 people from your group and
community signed up who
want to donate blood.
õ Bring sign ups to the Elizabeth Hanford Dole
Chapter of the American Red Cross,
and
Sherry Smith,
the Blood Services Director, will discuss a blood
drive date that's
convenient for your group.
õ Ask people in your group to volunteer at the blood
drive. Volunteers will be
needed to greet and
serve refreshments in the canteen area. They can
also donate
food, sodas, napkins and cups.
(Blood donors love homemade goods.)
õ Publicize your blood drive by using posters around
town, banners and networking
with other groups. |
