Nurse Aide 1 Program

General Information:

This program is designed to prepare students to take the North Carolina Nurse Aide 1 Competency Examination to become a Certified Nurse Aide 1.                                     

Program Information:

The program is based on the NC State approved curriculum and requires 128 hours of classroom instruction and training. It includes twenty-four hours of on site clinical training at a skilled nursing facility.  Program instruction is provided by a Registered Nurse. 

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates interested in becoming a Certified Nurse Aide 1 will receive valuable information, such as a NC Nurse Aide 1 Candidate Handbook, a list of regional test sites, test schedules, a National Nurse Aide 1 Assessment Program (NNAAP tm)  Practice Exam, and a Nurse Aide 1 Competency Examination Application.

The Cost is $370, plus a refundable $10.00 deposit.
